Mariagrazia Pelaia is an independent researcher, freelance translator, and editorial collaborator.
Since 2002 she has been part of the editorial board of Prometeo, a quarterly on science and history, and since 2008 of the scientific committee of Traduttologia, published by the University of Pescara.
In her Prismatic Readings, she explores interdisciplinary themes through books that invite both humanistic and scientific perspectives—reflecting the core mission of Prometeo.
Her recent three-part article series is dedicated to Rosalie Bertell’s book Planet Earth: The Latest Weapon of War—examining the work of a scientist who was also a committed humanist and activist for the protection of life and the planet.
